The Annales du Service des Antiquités de l’Egypte is a well-known and respected series on Egyptology and excavations published by the Supreme Council of Antiquities in Egypt. This 77th volume is dedicated to Ahmed Fakhry, the great Egyptologist and excavator, in appreciation of his work. The volume includes an essay on his life and work and how it has been continued since his death in 1973, as well as a number of excavation reports from around Egypt and papers covering a variety of topics ranging from the name of Atum to the Edwin Smith Surgical Papyrus.
